Acclaimed make-up artist Liz Pugh picked Eyeko as her beauty edit for Wonderland magazine this month.
The theme was culture clash which photographer Felicity Ingram translated into a series of tight head shots show casing a variety of subversive yet beautiful make-up looks. With Mariah Carey as the cover star for Wonderland our beauty pages were appropriately titled #Beautiful. It’s always exciting working with Liz and we got to play around with a lot of new as-yet-to-launch Eyeko products including our automatic gel eyeliners Making Eyes and our Lash Wardrobe. And of course at the end of the shoot we took it all off with Eyeko Mascara...
We catch up with one of our favourite beauty vloggers, actress Teni Panosian, the make up maven behind Miss Maven! Read all about her desert island must-haves; how she spends her down-time and her beauty predictions for the year ahead.
What do you think is going to be the biggest makeup look for this season?
Creative liner looks. Whether it's your standard black or an eye-catching vibrant color, it was all over the runways. The mod liner look is especially hot right now; paired with a pastel lip it's perfect for the season!
What's your biggest extravagance?
Massages. I get them often! I work 7 days a week so it's my one window...
Billed as a presentation rather then catwalk show, the debut of new label GRACE proved to be the hottest ticket in town. Styled by none other then Katie Grand the excitement built as we discovered that the girls walking the show included Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Suki Waterhouse and Sam Rollinson.
With Lisa Eldridge making eyes for Eyeko the atmosphere back stage was surprisingly relaxed despite the girls rushing in from previous show commitments that ran late. For the pared down collection of LBD's 'Little Grace Dresses'
we were thrilled to introduce our NEW LASH WARDROBE, the ultimate accessory to your eye wardrobe. Katie channeled...
It was evident that the brow love was still going strong as make-up artist Lisa Eldridge teamed thickened brows with a lived-in lip echoing the Robert Palmer 'Addicted to Love' girls for the Katy Grand styled Grace show featuring a collection of LBD's or Little Grace Dresses. Using light strokes of NEW Eyeko Brow Liner and brushed through with Eyeko Brow Gel boosting lashes with a lick of Eyeko Black Magic Mascara and corner lashes from the soon-to launch Eyeko Lash Wardrobe for a sultry tilt.
Brows were also gelled up and feathered in at Roksanda Ilincic, Margaret Howell and JW Anderson. Ofcourse with Brit Brow Mascot Cara...
It's no secret that Eyeko loves a 60's eye look! We loved Cosmopolitan UK's recent article on 'Celebrities nailing 60s hair and makeup' and were happy to see our girl Alexa Chung. Also in the mix were Eyeko fans Mad Men actress Jessica Pare and Londoner Gizzi Erskine who is as well known for her 60's persona as her TV cooking!
"We love Alexa Chung's signature 60's eye make up - the feline flicks go with every outfit. It's no wonder eye makeup brand Eyeko signed her up as their Creative Director."
It's no secret Alexa is a huge fan of liquid eyeliner so naturally since joining Eyeko she's improved on her favourite and created her own!
We were happy to feature in Space NK's stunning A/W campaign show casing the must-do make-up looks of the season.
Top make-up artist Karen Alder created a number of looks featuring award-winning Eyeko Brow Gel, Black Magic Mascara and Skinny Liquid Eyeliner all available from Space NK in the UK.
What's more one of our favourite bloggers Liberty London Girl was on hand to document all the behind-the-scenes action.
You can update this for the holidays by using Eyeko Liquid...
The sun is out and whether your home or away keep it simple. A truly black mascara will give eyes all the definition needed to accentuate your summer look.
Try two coats of our Black Magic Mascara for the blackest, black finish and skip eyeliner all together for a sexy summer gaze like Blake Lively.
Eva Longoria gave good eye on the red carpet at Cannes 2013. Her dramatic cat eye was given a summer update with a tousled pony, nude lip and dewy skin with a touch of bronze.
Use Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner drawn across the upper lid, press the pen on its side to create a thick even line, then go on point towards inner corners and finish with a strong winged out line at the outer corner.
Line along your bottom lid as close to the lash line as possible and finish with two coats of Eyeko Black Magic Mascara for a suitably sooty stare!
