I am absolutely hooked on all of the fabulous Eyeko Mascara Wardrobe, there is one for every look I want to create as a makeup artist. What I really love about them is the amazing staying power, always important on a shoot.
When I want to achieve the perfect red carpet look I use the Skinny Brush, perfect for long separated lashes. I love the precision this brush gives me. I use the Curvy Brush for a really curled lash look. For more editorial looks I often use the Fat Brush mascara.
I love them for the different effects you can get and often mix and match for a more tailored look. I use the Curvy Brush or the Skinny brush on the top lashes and then often tease the outer lashes out with the Fat brush to look like I have added a few extra lashes without the time consuming applying of fake lashes but the same effect only better!
Another thing I love about this mascara is that it doesn’t weigh down the lashes like many do, they stay lifted and curled. As the day goes on I find with lots of other mascaras on the market, the lashes tend to droop and the mascara starts to flake or rub off under the eye, this never happens with any of the Eyeko mascaras.
Spring summer 2012 is all about gorgeous eyes, lashes and liner are a must.
And finally the Eyeko Shield, such a useful little tool when you want to get right to the root, so important if you have lighter lashes to give that full lash look. I also use this tool when I want to apply liner on the inner rim as you can gently push the lid back without getting your fingers all over the eye makeup! It gives easy access to where is sometimes a little tricky to get to!

Top Tips for Your Best Ever LASH LOOK – Which mascara is best for you!
Use the below mascara review tips to help you! Let’s start with - Build it Up!
For a clean lash look it’s best to build up the layers! Wipe a tissue over the wand to remove any excess mascara before you apply the first coat.
The Eyeko mascara Shield – your miracle lid guard!
Pop the Eyeko Shield behind lashes as close to the base as possible – almost lifting the eyelid – as you sweep, brush up from root to tips. Knowing you’re not going to smudge your lids with the Eyeko Shield safely in position means you can load up your lashes with glossy black colour!
Magnifying Mirrors
Alternatively look down into a compact mirror (a magnifying one works best) to minimize smudges as you apply and ensuring complete coverage. Each Eyeko brush is designed not minimise smudges; browse our best mascara brushes to see which one suits you….
Wiggle it! Just a little bit!
Wiggle the mascara brush from bottom to top; left to right and make use of the tapered end on outer and inner lashes to colour and lift.
Starburst
Create a starburst effect by using your wand vertically on central lashes fanning them out to really open up the eye.
One Clump or Two?
Before the first coat dries build volume with a second coat of mascara. Our best mascara brushes will help you to create the desired amount of volume. You must do this before the first coat dries to avoid clumping!
Mascara brush Wardrobing
Try Mascara Wardrobing using a complimentary mascara brush. If you started with Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara switch to Eyeko Curvy Brush Mascara to add curl to outer lashes.
Bottom Lashes
For an on trend lash look be sure to apply our best mascara for bottom lashes – Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara is the go-to for revealing lashes you never knew you had!
Pump up the Volume
Create a full lash fringe with Eyeko Fat Brush Mascara by using on top lashes – apply at least 2 coats and don’t be afraid of going in for a third! This treatment formula loves lashes so load it up because the super-sized brush won’t clump.
Mind the Gap
Using black Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner dot between lashes to close any gaps and create a super fine line of colour close to the lash line. This creates the illusion of even longer lashes and really frames the eye.
Finishing Touches
Using a Q tip run beneath bottom lashes on upper lid to clean up any smattering of colour. Finally once lashes are dry push up with your fingers to give a little extra lift and hold.
We hope our review will help you find the best mascara brush for you to create an amazing lash look. Feel free to contact us via hello@eyeko.com for any additional help from our team.
